In these days of chaos and turmoil in our streets, heightened tensions with other nations, and vile ideals being taught to our children in our schools and on the internet, America seems to be at a loss in its search for peace and calm.  Rest is difficult to attain as we try to sleep with worried minds and stressed hearts.

As every family and entity cry out for peace and safety, we have come to realize that we must understand that peace is certainly not a man-thing.  If so, why has it escaped us?  Peace is a God-thing, established in Light and against darkness!  See Psalm 34:14-17 KJV.

Please take a serious and sober look at I Thessalonians 5 KJV.  You will begin to understand why sinful man and his unholy plans and schemes are not set up to produce peace.

Psalm 3:5 & 4:8 give us good insight as to how to live and sleep peacefully.  God sustains his people and keeps us safe.  “The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” Psalm 29:11; “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; for the end of that man is peace.” Psalm 37:37 KJV   There can be no peace without righteousness and there can be no righteousness without peace.  See Psalm 85:10 KJV.

The Bible tells us that those who love God’s Word will have great peace!

Remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

First-time guests who visit LIVING RIVERS CHURCH (LRC) always comment on the readily noticed peaceful atmosphere of the sanctuary, and the friendly welcome they receive.

We invite you and your family to experience the fervent praise and worship, and the dynamic preaching as we seek the peace that comes only from God.  When you experience LRC you won’t fall asleep in service, but you’ll sleep fabulously at night.

Come and Grow with Us.
